FAQ
Before you ask.
The questions I hear most. Collection-specific ones live on the planning page.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular Utah dates (May through October Saturdays) tend to go 10 to 14 months out for full-service and partial planning. Month-of coordination can be booked as late as four months before the wedding. That said, I’ve pulled off lovely weddings in eight weeks; if your date is soon, ask anyway.
How do we hold our date?
A signed agreement and a retainer. Dates aren’t held on a verbal yes, only because I’ve had to disappoint couples before and hated it.
We already have a venue, a photographer, a caterer. Is it too late for a planner?
Not at all. Most couples come to me with a venue booked and a few vendors in hand. I pick up wherever you are, get on your vendors’ timelines, and fill in whatever is still missing.
Do you work with couples planning from out of state?
Often. If you’re getting married in Utah but living somewhere else, I become your eyes on the ground: venue walkthroughs, tastings, mock-ups, all reported back with photos and notes.
What happens if you’re sick on our wedding day?
I keep a small bench of trusted planners whose work I’d put my name on. In the rare case I can’t be there, a vetted professional who already has your full timeline steps in at no extra cost.
Is a retainer refundable?
Retainers are non-refundable because they take your date off the market. If you need to move your date, I transfer everything to the new one whenever I’m available, at no charge.
Do you offer payment plans?
Every collection can be split into monthly payments between booking and 30 days before the wedding. No interest, no fees.
