Hi, I’m Madison. I plan weddings people actually get to enjoy.
Hazel is a small wedding planning studio based in Utah. It’s me, a very good day-of team, and a soft spot for a well-run timeline.
Why “Hazel”?
Hazel is the color of an eye that can’t decide between green and brown. It’s warm, a little unexpected, and it changes with the light. That felt right for the kind of weddings I want to make.
Hazel Wedding Co. is built around a simple idea: planning a wedding should feel as meaningful as the day itself. I love the moment when dozens of moving parts become one clear, beautiful experience—and when a couple can stop thinking about the schedule and start living it.
That is the work behind every Hazel wedding: shaping the vision, finding the right people to bring it to life, and making the entire journey feel calm and considered. Hazel is a small planning and design studio in Utah, intentionally personal from the first conversation to the final send-off.
I take a limited number of weddings each year, on purpose. I would rather know your grandmother’s name and your caterer’s cell number than have a bigger calendar. On the day, I’m the person at the back of the room with the timeline, the emergency kit and the quiet word with the DJ, so that the only thing you have to do is get married.

Calm in a crisis, allergic to a late timeline, will remember your mother-in-law’s dietary restriction so you don’t have to. Happiest with a clipboard, a good florist and a ceremony that starts on time.
A few things I won’t compromise on.
Honest about money
You shouldn’t have to book a call to find out whether you can afford me. Every collection is listed with what it includes and what it costs, and it’s the same price for everyone.
Your day, not my portfolio
I’ll suggest, I’ll steer, I’ll tell you when something won’t work in the room. But I never move your wedding around to make it look better online.
Small on purpose
I cap my calendar so I can give every couple the same care. When you hire Hazel, you get me from the first call to the last dance, not a team you meet on the day.
You will not look at a clock. You will not answer a vendor’s text. You will just get married.Let’s talk
