Salt Lake City wedding planning, with the whole plan on one page
I’m a wedding planner based in Salt Lake City, and I plan weddings across Utah. I handle the spreadsheets, the vendor emails and the 4 p.m. sunset math so you can spend your engagement actually enjoying it. Choose how much help you want. Every collection and every price is below.
Three ways to plan your wedding with me
The two upper collections include me and an assistant running your wedding day. The Blueprint is for couples who want an expert’s plan and are happy to carry it out themselves.
The Blueprint
A planning intensive. We build the plan together; you run with it.
- Three 90-minute planning sessions, in person or on video
- A master timeline from engagement to send-off
- A personalized budget with realistic Utah pricing
- A vendor shortlist for every category you need
- Design direction: palette, mood board and priorities
- Guest list, RSVP and seating templates
- Two months of email support after your final session
Partial Planning
You lead the vision. I handle the heavy lifting and run the day.
- Everything in The Blueprint
- Vendor sourcing, negotiation and booking for up to five categories
- Contract review for every vendor you sign
- A full design board with floor plan and rental list
- Monthly planning calls plus unlimited email
- Month-of takeover: I become every vendor’s contact six weeks out
- Rehearsal direction (1 hour)
- Lead planner and an assistant, up to 10 hours on your wedding day
- Emergency kit, a timeline for every vendor and the family, vendor tip distribution
Full Service
Every detail, start to finish. You show up and get married.
- Everything in Partial Planning
- Unlimited vendor sourcing and management
- Full design and styling: concept, sourcing, mock-ups, installation oversight
- Venue scouting with up to four site visits
- Guest management: RSVPs, hotel blocks, transportation, welcome bags
- Stationery, signage and wedding website coordination
- Lead planner and two assistants, up to 12 hours
- Rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch coordination
- Post-wedding wrap-up: rentals returned, gifts secured, final payments reconciled
All collections are for a single wedding day of up to 200 guests in Utah. Larger guest counts, multi-day celebrations and travel beyond 60 miles of Salt Lake City are quoted individually. Pricing is current for weddings booked in 2026 for 2026–2027 dates.
What full-service wedding planning in Utah includes
Full service is for couples who want to hand over the whole engagement. You make the big decisions with me beside you, and I carry everything else from the first venue tour to the last returned rental.
The search
I scout venues with you—up to four site visits—then find, vet and book every vendor you need. There’s no category cap.
The design
A full concept, from palette to tabletop to lighting, with sourcing, mock-ups where they matter, and oversight of the install on the day.
Your guests
RSVPs, hotel blocks, transportation and welcome bags, plus coordination of your stationery, signage and wedding website.
Every contract
I read them all and catch the overtime clauses, rain plans and load-in windows before they become surprises.
The whole weekend
Your rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and morning-after brunch are coordinated too, followed by me and two assistants for up to 12 hours on the wedding day.
The wrap-up
Rentals returned, gifts secured and final payments reconciled while you’re on your honeymoon.
Who it suits: couples with demanding jobs, couples planning from out of state, larger or more design-heavy weddings, and anyone who knows they’d rather make ten good decisions than two hundred small ones. Full service works best booked 10 to 18 months out.
A month-by-month look at full serviceWhen partial wedding planning is the right fit
Partial planning is for couples who have a clear picture of the wedding and have already made some of the big calls—usually the venue and a few key vendors—but don’t want to carry the rest alone.
You stay in the lead. I fill the gaps: sourcing and booking up to five vendor categories, reviewing every contract you sign, and building a full design board with a floor plan and rental list. We have a monthly planning call and you can email me anytime. Six weeks out I become every vendor’s contact, and on the day I run the whole thing with an assistant.
- You enjoy the planning and want to keep making the decisions yourself.
- You’ve booked your venue and some vendors, and the rest feels like a lot.
- You want a professional to check your contracts and timeline before it’s too late to change them.
- You want a real planner on the day, not a friend with a clipboard.
Partial planning works best booked 6 to 12 months out.

Not sure? Tell me where you are in the planning and I’ll tell you honestly which one fits. Sometimes the answer is the smaller collection.
Month-of & day-of coordination
Planned the whole thing yourself and just want someone to hold it together on the day? That’s month-of coordination. I take over about six weeks out, confirm every vendor, build the timeline, run the rehearsal and run the day.
$X,XXX.
Everything about coordinationThe Small Day
For 30 guests or fewer. Planning sessions, vendor coordination and a coordinator on site for up to six hours. Small weddings deserve a real plan too.
Ask about The Small DayPlanning weddings in Salt Lake City and across Utah
Hazel is based in Salt Lake City. Every collection covers a wedding within 60 miles of the city at no extra cost. Beyond that, anywhere in Utah or out of state, travel is quoted separately and I’ll tell you the number before you sign anything.
Because I plan a small number of weddings a year, I know each couple’s venue before the day, not on it. I walk the space with the venue coordinator the week before, and on the day they run the building while I run the wedding.
Planning from out of state? I’ll go to the tastings, walkthroughs and mock-ups for you and send back photos and notes, so you can make decisions from wherever you are.
What comes standard, whichever you choose.
- i.A shared planning portal with your timeline, budget, checklists and vendor contacts in one place.
- ii.A real budget conversation. I’ll tell you where money disappears in a wedding and where it actually shows.
- iii.Vendor relationships. I only recommend people I would hire for my own family, and I tell you why.
- iv.A timeline built around the light. Your portraits get scheduled first, in the good light, and everything else flexes around them.
What the year looks like together.
A typical full-service or partial timeline. Shorter engagements are welcome; the arc just gets compressed.
